National Security Leaders for America Supports Upholding the Work of the Base Naming Commission

NSL4A strongly supports the House-passed Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that preserves the bipartisan Naming Commission’s work established by Congress in the FY2021 NDAA. NSL4A joins the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and other organizations in this effort to uphold integrity, unity, and accountability within our armed forces.

Created in 2021, the Naming Commission worked across party lines to ensure our military symbols reflect American ideals of unity and service. Reversing its results would disrespect both the process and the principles it represents.
