National Security Leaders for America President Rear Admiral Mike Smith to Speak at Unite for Veterans Rally on June 6

Washington, DC, National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) s proud to partner with the Unite for Veterans Rally, taking place on Friday, June 6, 2025, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. NSL4A Founder and President, Rear Admiral Mike Smith, U.S. Navy (Ret.), will be among the keynote speakers, joining a distinguished lineup including U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth and former Representatives Adam Kinzinger and Conor Lamb. The rally will also feature a free performance by the Dropkick Murphys.

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to join Unite for Veterans. This rally reflects our shared duty to honor, support, and fight for those who’ve served us all,” said Admiral Smith, whose father was a Navy veteran from the Vietnam War.

Being held on the 81st anniversary of D-Day, the event is organized by a coalition of veterans and allies, led by the Union Veterans Council (AFL-CIO), The Chamberlain Network, and VALOR Media, along with many other veteran advocates committed to protecting fellow service members, federal jobs, and the institutions that serve veterans. The rally channels the spirit of historic veteran-led advocacy—from the Bonus Army of 1932 to the battles for the GI Bill and Agent Orange care—calling for continued protection of veterans’ rights, federal service, and the institutions that support them.
