Washington, DC—National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) is heartbroken by the senseless shooting of two National Guardsmen, a tragedy about which more will become known in the days ahead. Today, we hold in our prayers these brave Americans whose service reflects the very best of our communities.

The National Guard is made up of our neighbors, our coworkers, and our family members—citizen-soldiers who step forward to protect and support the communities they call home. As we grieve alongside their families, we extend our deepest support to the units, hometowns, and loved ones who are now carrying an unimaginable weight.

In this moment of loss, we wrap our arms around the entire Guard community and reaffirm our gratitude for their service, sacrifice, and steadfast commitment to the people they serve.
