Leave No American Behind: Support policies that help every American
(OpEd) Carlos Martínez | La Voz
The sacrifices of our military and their families deserve more than just lip service. They deserve leaders who understand and embody the values of service, sacrifice, and mutual respect. As we approach the election, it is crucial that we support candidates who will uphold these values and reject those who only care about appearances. Our democracy, like our military, depends on leaders who are committed to the well-being of all, not just the privileged few.

Trump's empathy deficit is disqualifying
(OpEd) Russell Shilling | Arizona Daily Star
I first learned in the Navy, you cannot lead those whom you do not understand. You cannot help nor care for people if you do not care about them. For that reason alone, no one in search of effective leadership should vote for Donald Trump.

Trump will make inflation far worse
(OpEd) Stephen Craven | The Tribune-Democrat
He didn’t mean to, but Donald Trump has made clear he is delighted for you to pay higher prices. That and he doesn’t understand how tariffs work.
That’s the only conclusion you can draw from his many threats to raise tariffs. The self-proclaimed “tariff man” has threatened and used tariffs to “punish” countries he doesn’t like. He is expanding his threats without thinking about their impact on Americans.

Trump, as president, could launch a nuclear strike. This should scare you.
(OpEd) Thomas Countryman and Alexander Vershbow | The Philadelphia Inquirer
In a challenging future environment, in which Russia and other adversaries scrutinize every move for signs of weakness or instability, Trump’s unpredictable behavior could erode the credibility of America’s nuclear deterrent. The erosion of trust in the United States’ commitment to responsible nuclear stewardship could unnerve our allies, embolden rival powers, and heighten risks of miscalculation and unintended escalation.

The Risks Of Donald Trump 2.0 Foreign Policy
(OpEd) Ambassador Gordon Gray | National Security Journal
Because foreign policy challenges have only increased since the Bush 41 administration the United States cannot afford to reprise the four years of national security ineptitude that a second Trump administration would inflict. A vote for Donald Trump is a vote for renewed chaos and retreat.

I Led a U.S. Intelligence Agency. Trump Was Reckless With Classified Documents
(OpEd) Gregory F. Treverton | U.S. News & World Report
Trump’s mishandling of classified documents was not only clearly illegal, but in my view it should deny him the usual courtesy of access to classified documents that is given to all major party presidential candidates. In fact, I believe his flagrant mishandling of our national security secrets disqualifies him from being president again.

Donald Trump’s Dangerous Embrace Of Extremism Is A Threat To America
(OpEd) Julie Farnam | National Security Journal
Chaos, violence, inhumanity, and the degradation of the United States’ position in the world is all but guaranteed under another four years with Donald Trump as president. A vote for Trump in November is an endorsement of a man who is more focused on retribution and promoting extremist ideology than on making America great. Vote wisely.

Trump’s border policy: Speak loudly and carry no stick
(OpEd) Robert Kelly | Arizona Daily Star
Trump has strong opinions on border security and immigration. Unfortunately, they are almost entirely wrong. A staple of his approach to border security is “the wall.” As one of Trump’s heroes, General George S. Patton, once said, “Fixed fortifications are monuments to the stupidity of man.”

Army spouse: Trump’s callous insult of military not forgotten this Memorial Day
(OpEd) Rebekah Sanderlin | Rebekah Sanderlin | Fayetteville Observer, USA Today, Apple News Spotlight
How did we get to a place where mocking our nation’s war dead is not an immediate disqualifier for a Commander in Chief? Why would any young person agree to wear a military uniform knowing that even their President does not honor their service? And why would anyone who has served in our military ever forgive Donald Trump for denigrating their brothers who were killed in action?

Cubans should vote for Democrats, not Republicans
(OpEd) CARLOS MARTINEZ | El Nuevo Herald
The Republican Party continues to support Trump. In reality, the American Republican Party has changed so much that it is almost unrecognizable. It is no longer the party that my parents supported and that I supported most of my life.
And, since I know that Cubans are not stupid, I swear to all Cubans to abandon their usual loyalty to the Republican party and
